Moving!

One of the biggest news pieces right now is that we're moving! Not far though. Just off of the hill we've been on that overlooks the school, down to actually living at the school. And so the most interesting thing happening at the moment is the building of our new hut.
[Yes, these also are for my dear mother. She's been rather anxious to see what her new home looks like, as well as being quite interested in learning of the exact location.:)]

The hut is completely traditional, with the exception of a little more than half of the flooring being wood rather than bamboo. This is not a good season for building and it's difficult for them to find enough good bamboo. It should be finished within 2 weeks or so. Next to go on will be the leaf roof. And then the split bamboo siding. They will build a small kitchen off of the side of it.
