This blog is written by Maria's mother
Maria asked me to put an update for her on here.
Jabez is being transported to Chiang mai by ambulance, the doctor says that he is having drug sensitivity syndrome and that it is messing up his internal organs.
Maria is asking that you PLEASE join us in prayer for him.
Maria never mentioned in her blog that she also has pneumonia and was requested to be admitted, she refused and is staying by Jabez side.
She does not know when she will have internet again, but is appreciating your prayers.
So this is why my mind has been haunted with the impression to pray for Maria! Crazy...in fact I JUST finished blogging about my convictions, and then 5 minutes later, I see this. If you happen to see this, will you please read the blog post to her? http://livinghigher.blogspot.com/2011/06/sacred-claim.html Thank you! Praying hard for you all tonight.
ReplyDeleteWe (my family, Laura Calkins, her family, and several other families from church) have been praying since Sabbath. Someone said I should show the pictures of Jabez to another person who hadn't seen them yet (I've been saving them on my computer since the beginning). I couldn't find the last few, so I just got on Maria's blog. Everyone was crowded around my computer to see, so we all read the first update about Jabez. The burden has not left our hearts since that time – for Maria, for Jabez, for the doctors and nurses, for those back at Sunshine Orchard who are battling against the powers of darkness, for the rest of the family here in the US so far from the trouble. But we have an all-loving and all-powerful Savior who is always with us and I know He is holding each person, each situation, in the palm of His hand.

Sarah VH
We will be keeping the situation in earnest prayer! We do have an enemy, but our God is all powerful!

All of your comments (and prayers!) have encouraged me so much! Thank-you!
